Our dream wedding!
We got married at Tenuta San Masseo in June 2024 and stayed at the venue for 3 nights with our family, hosting two events as part of our wedding celebrations. The venue is absolutely beautiful - the pictures don’t do it justice! We had guests travelling from the UK and Australia and everyone expressed how much they enjoyed their free time exploring Assisi - perfect for a destination wedding. On the day, everything went to plan and we had the most wonderful time. Luliia was great at ensuring the day went smoothly and it was everything we wished for. I did a lot of the pre planning and briefing Luliia in what we wanted for the day. Depending on where you are from and what your expectations are, you may find the planning process feels quite laid back - just ensure you are clear in communication and trust the process! Planning was not the easiest given we were in a different time zones and at times I was concerned at times that what we were requesting wouldn’t come together on the day, but it did! We were able to choose our own suppliers / order items to the venue, as well as take Luliia’s recommendations. This was helpful because it meant that we were not restricted and Luliia was very accommodating in what we asked for. During the planning process, we had to change catering company due to some dispute between the venue and original company - but we are so glad we made the change! Luliia recommended Locanda del Cardinale who were fantastic. Our florist was also recommended by Luliia - La Primula - they delivered exactly what we wanted!
Dream Wedding
I would highly recommend San Messeo for an unforgettable destination wedding. From our first enquiry, Iuliia was responsive, professional and extremely helpful and when we made our first visit to the venue, we fell in love with. We felt at ease during the whole planning process, and Iuliia helped us find the perfect suppliers for our needs. During the welcome event and the wedding day, we did not have to worry about anything. It truly exceed all of our expectations, and we are so happy we chose have our wedding at this beautiful place.

We had such an amazing time getting married at tenuta San Masseo. All our guests loves it. Iuliia and the team are beyond helpful and truly have the best suppliers. Everyone is super professional. The venue is stunning, the skyline of Assisi is just amazing. The villa is done to an extremely high standard. We couldn’t fault anything. The ceremony was done in the beautiful garden and the cube is the most gorgeous place at nighttime. Everyone loved the food too! Big thank you again to Iuliia and her team.
